Hello! The wig is actually tapered cut pieces of black stiff felt (you can get sheets up to 11x17 from Micheals or other craft stores), and then there's a bunch of black feathers in there for texture. The whole thing was glued to a cardboard top hat which had its trim cut off. Then the face cloth was glued around it. Hope that helps!
Close! It's stiff felt that's been curled. It's a base of a plastic felt bowler Halloween hat that I just draped fabric over and glued the felt and feathers to. Then the mask is made from plaster and paperclay. Then sculpey for the jewel details. That's about it.
I want to do an own Darcia cosplay, who'd you like to give me five tips about the materials and making of the several parts ... and how much do that all cost ^^"
(sorry for my English, I know it's weak)
Darciaaaa!! Coool ^^ This was love at first sight as I see the picture
What is it made from? I mean... I'd like to make a similar to this one, but I don't know how to start.... Could you help me, please? How did you make the mask? and the coat? what are they made from? Did you have a drawing with the scales? I gladly accept the least help (if you don't mind I'd like to "steal" your idea )
The mask I made from plaster strips with paperclay on top and it was made on top of a top hat I bought from a Halloween store with "feathers" made from curved stiff felt. The coat I made from this stiff black fabric, I'm not much for the names of fabrics, sorry XD.
my friend is trying to cosplay darcia and she says its a bitch to make the costume...i mean i have only seen a few episodes of wolf's rain [actually the only time i saw it was in anime club in mo-town O.O] but shes doing female darcia [she said theres a male and female darcia?] so ya...im cosplaying as blue
