I guess it comes to no surprise that Rinzler was my favorite part of the Tron: Legacy movie, mask and corruption back story and all. I've wanted to do a very designy piece with him for a while, but buying a condo and moving in and getting cats sort of got in the way. Nonetheless, I greatly enjoyed doing this (I thought it'd be a pain in the ass since I haven't drawn in forever), it was refreshing to do some mindless, pretty fanart for myself rather than client work client work Martha Stewart Crafts client work.

Rinzler belongs to Disney.

Initial concept was sketched out, this piece is 100% Adobe Illustrator. Thank you to my friend Kate for her helpful input!

Oh my goodness, this is fantastic! I have such a weakness for strong, stylized art, and well....who doesn't love Rinzler? The expression is perfect, too.
