What material did you use for the heart thing? Also how did you get the pattern on it?

The base of it is a really super thick double-sided interfacing that I ironed spandex to. The back is the same blue material as my cloak and the front is a base of black spandex. I sewed bias tape on it and hand-sewed the ruffles, the gold and the green are spandex which I adhered to heat and bond which I then pressed in the pattern into the collar.
