Yay! I finally drew an original character. I had an original character block for a long time so this makes me really satisfied. Though I think the skin on the middle joint on my pinky is like, blistered, because it was tensely bent for a few hours XD. But this character has been swimming in my head for a while, I just haven't had a chance to draw him out for a long time. And by a stroke of genius, I forgot my usual colored pencils at home and the colors aren't as I want to be with the limited palette of the watercolor pencils, but I'm still immensely pleased with it.

That whole left side totally reminds me of Photoshop CS though, because of the color choices and logo of CS. /art nerd

"timor et miror" means "fear and awe," my character's name is Morael, which in angelology is the angel of fear and awe. And yes, he totally is an undead pirate. Seme, btw >_>.

Also, a note to my DA friends, I've been mostly inactive here, I admit, I've been spending all my time over at y!hosting because the layout is much more convenient for me, so it's easier to keep tabs on the people I watch. Though it makes me feel bad since there are artists here that don't go to y!hosting and I miss their works from like months back. I'll eventually get around to them I promise.
